Exactly Miles, Ebay has been talking about entering the BNPL space for a while and it doesn't mean everyone is going stop using Zip or APT.

Competition is good for companies and it may allow Z1p & APT to offer new incentives/schemes etc with their current service to expand their market share and attract more customers.ie: through rewards or promotions with their retail partners like other loyalty cards do.

Remember people panicked when Amazon was coming to Australia, did it affect other retailers, did Woolies /Coles, Aldi go out of business?

However, Z1p's 3% rewards promo ended in January yet they still haven't updated their website.

Come on guys who are you paying to do your online presence? Fix it please....

Companies need to be creative and be a step ahead of any competition even if you are no 1 in that field, you need to be a step ahead always

The share price of both Z1p & APT have had red days many times with ASIC probes etc & now Ebay is in the mix.

I held APT through the whole money laundering ASIC rumours a few years ago & that's all it was, a rumour. (Scare mongering) Same as crypto, just scare mongering.

Z1p's share purchase plan offer was at $5.34 in Dec 2020, which I took up, yet the price fell around $5.10 not long after, but once it was getting closer to their annual report things started moving again.

All the BNPLs are down today, we can blame the Nasdaq, Paypal, bond yields & supposed inflation talk in the US etc etc... but I don't see how its totally management's fault?

As quickly as Z1p goes green it can turn red as it has over the last 4 years that I've seen.

You either believe in Z1p & the BNPL space or you're a trader riding the dips.

On a positive note Affirm closed over 1% last night.
