    I'm sorry, but you are making no sense. So the customers want Afterpay (it's a great product and is free), and reams of high quality data shows it increases basket conversion and basket size and that Afterpay is a huge source of lead referrals for its merchants - all for a measly 5%. Currently (prior to PP's BNPL offering) PayPal provide none of those things and charge 3% - has your wife been passing that charge on to her customers? What about the CC fee from Visa or Mastercard, is she passing that on? I'm guessing that she is going to have a lot of disgruntled customers if/when she tries to pass on the Afterpay fee (if the regulator ever steps in and overrides the existing agreement between Afterpay and its merchants). I would suggest she'd be better off getting rid of Afterpay altogether and hope it doesn't prove too much of a competitive disadvantage.
