I shorted this yesterday and closed today, and then longed for three main reasons:
1. This has been a little bit mysterious in the way it has sold off - suspect many in the market were trading this, as there were a lot of players needing to keep this secret.
2. Stockbrokers will be doing some serious arse kissing.
3. There is a long way to go before anything happens, assuming all parties tick the yes box.
4. (lol) Universities might not sell looking at the vested interest they have, or may sell to other universities if they are desperate. There are probably roughly 10 universities that will be outsized players that will matter most for student numbers, and the halo effect.
