For those interested in charting, or are new to investing, see attached three charts, XSO, XHJ, PTX.... see anything in common?

Note that each sector has a corresponding chart, (Health XHF),(Materials XMJ), (Financials XFJ)...etc, with small caps as a whole also having it's own chart also (XSO).

By tracking the sector or the indices performance itself, you can understand the rise and fall of the price in each stock in that sector. If the sector is trending up, then the stock is more likely to be bought long, and visa versa. The XSO has trended down since the 17/2....and surprise surprise so has PTX!

I hope this helps people understand the broader picture of why price fluctuations occur. Simple charting software packages are available cheap online, and there's a bucket load of info available to anyone who wants to learn, trust me ....it's better than relying on the HC pumpers to tell you everything will be ok in your investment.
