Offtake to china != Offtake to Europe.
"diversification" of clients is not a trivial matter that should be discussed with facetious quotation marks.
China can, AND HAS, completely ignored contracts and supply agreements where it suits them.
They ARE more likely to do this when they feel they have the supplier by the balls - ie when they buy ALL OF THEIR PRODUCT. Fact of the matter is if you make an agreement with a European company this is A LOT less likely to happen.
China is not likely to have any pricing mechanism that benefits greener production.
Given our resource is likely to increase, already having a foot in the door in Europe would also help with sale of future volumes.
YES selling the rest of planned production to China is still a win for AVZ.
YES selling the rest of planned production to Europe would be a BIGGER win for AVZ.
