    I would 100% be getting IT to reconstruct all email correspondence between Cyber X and Jeff to ensure that there was no conflict of interest.

    Management just walking away from our growth strategy to sell to a competitor to then take a role working for them seems to be highly conflicted and unethical in my personal opinion.
