It's much worse than it looks. Warragamba has a snorkel outlet which can be raised and lowered to suck the best quality water. Some layers are full of bacteria.
Even at 0.3 percent a week there's probably only 6 months good water without heavy rain.
Too late to fit a rainwater tank - no use without rain.
