They will be watching it like hawks this year. We might get a few drunks at the turnpike with sneaky offers to temp and they will be told to turn around and sharpen their pencils.
EXR in interviews is in no rush however these guys aren’t mugs and haste is a given I would think.
The takeoff agreements could come in the form of small basin focused JVs at a slight discount.
Probably just me thinking out loud but it might make sense to enable commitment of additional exploration capital and expedite the exploration and development, possibly with options attached to expand JV.
All early successes of any such small JV will only further derisk the PSC and add value to the whole. The quicker the PSC is Swiss cheesed the better maybe?
I’m sure our management has plenty of surprises and tricks in the bag and I doubt this will be as predictable as we might think. Ducks will have busy feet all year, I’m sure!
