I work for Gyg. 24/7 store in Melbourne gets constant visitation. Poorly managed in store and have a really high employee turnover. But from my observation it’s defintely in its growth phase, advertising campaigns and growing menu (cheap options and snacks) should yield better results soon as well as they’re fairly new. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Gyg has a massive advantage over the rest of its competitors, Zambrero is terrible. Us expansion needs to be researched and tested but it’s success here could be quite profitably replicated.
as for barrenjoey, I am a big fan of it, and with this list of names now backing it, imo it goes to show that Hamish is a smart and level headed operator. I am now more confident this will yield good returns.
but I’m not sure that this news is what will kick the sp back into uptrend. the short sightedness on underperformance seems to be overwhelming, but we shall see. Imo good value here, as pe is quite reasonable for a business that has operators in charge who I trust (and hope) will find ways to improve their business. Gltah! I’m holding tight
