well - I'm in one of the worst places in the world for Covid - and, that is just definitely not true at all
there's an entire range of people right through from conspiracy nuts to people who are very pro the vaccination
many in France do not want the vaccine -but, they aren't conspiracy nutters - of those who do not want it that aren't conspiracy nuts -
the reasons have a wide range - some are waiting to see, some are wanting to wait for a different vacc, some want to see what happens to transmission as the numbers of the vaccinated grow
on hot copper - which is based in Oz - where basically there's almost zero problem ----------- you do get the antivax nutters ---------- who happen to mostly be the trumpers and homophobes etc - an interesting coincidence
equally - not everyone who wants to be vaccinated or already has been is totally gung ho about the vaccine either - there's also a ranger there - from people who think it's all go and no risks or worries - to people who agree reluctantly to it, but do so out of fear or having to to maintain something in their life - like a job.
for me personally - my decision is based on what I've seen, the numbers of side effects I've seen, the efficacy reported, the what should be lower risks if one makes a mistake in one's way of life - which - is vastly bloody different in France to what it is in Oz --
going to get the groceries is a totally different kettle of fish - so, anything that makes less risk if you break down on your processes - which does happen - is worth it mostly.
It's pretty easy to spot the conspiracy nutters on HC - they don't exactly not stand out - their lack of intellect and source of refs gives one a pretty easy and crystal headsup
