Thanks @lumpsum and im sure this is why we have locals working for us. We have been here for similar timeframes and and we both know that any occasion we have applied to drill it has taken extraordinary lengths of time. From needing permits to apply for permits to drill, to the word imminent every time an ann came out. We are in the best position we have ever been imo.
The reason why the last cr @10c was done. move Oz along, The previous cr at 5.5c was to fund drilling in Peru. With hold ups in Peru and all the comments here about concurrent drilling a strategic cr was done as to not lose too much time and momentum. Caught a few people off side but now enables the Australian projects to be fast tracked. We are dealing with a 3rd world government during a Pandemic, we may never have had the Obs anywhere near the money. I could imagine what the sp would have done if Peru permits were not out by end of June. Back to 5.5c and no Obs.
Allens is correct, the quickest way for the Peruvian govenrment to enhance the life of its people is through mining. Travel industry will never be the same as it was, needing a more reliance on mining and the infrastructure it brings to communities.
This is nothing unusual for us in Peru, permits take time there, it will happen but on Peru time. This is where @Poet got the laughing man from, these slow downs a long time ago. Be patient and be rewarded.
