I am not sure where it was agreed (unlikely the pub), but I do know that it was not a mitigation strategy to pump the SP, but a serious effort aimed at achieving a transaction at a price that reflected the board's (at the time) opinion of the value of Bisantrene. Thankfully no transaction eventuated.
We should remember that Merck once had Keytruda on their outsource/disposal list with a zero dollar cost. Wouldn’t it have been great to have picked up Keyruda for nothing - being able to buy Bisantrene for $3 million (the price of RAC when I started buying on market) is in the same league.
