Different.. taxi's usually charge more than a standard taxi.. when you break down the real reason most people use Uber, it's because they are cheaper.
CBA is not charging merchants, so you tell me.. will merchants be pushing consumers to use Afterpay or CBA?
Consumers use the one app/provider and merchants save money, win-win.
