Well that's obviously untrue. No way you are a lawyer if you think that you can be sued without referencing a law.

Negligence laws are found in the Civil Liability Act (or at least, that's what it's called here. It's a state law). If you contravene a provision of that act, you can be sued.

Also, for the record, ASIC specifically quoted sections of the Corps Act which they indicated that our BOD had breached. So the following statement is undeniably true: Our BOD are accused of illegal conduct.
