I am not doubting the oil price will steadily increase, but I am not sure it will hit the peaks it did last year in the sudden fashion that it hit them. That oil spike had an extremely damaging effect to an already waning economy. Practically everyone I know that was driving +5L cars (haha) was looking to offload them. This put the boot in on the truck and SUV industry and has helped slow things down even further. I believe a slow but steady transition to more fuel efficient vehicles will ease supply problems in the US; this coupled with them being able to shore up supply from Iraq should help the global poo stabilise to some degree.

so how is this relevant to Cougar? I guess you must be thinking very long term as young Len has still got to get the power generation up and running before this company really gets off the ground. Sure it is an option.
