MGT share price, page-3175

A few months ago there were so many posts on social media blaming MGT for not delivering and calling it p&d. I believe some of them sold out as well. Now, you can see some posts coming up about how people bought low and sold way too early....

I agree, there is an emotional/psychological barrier. Some people are happy with 100% gains. Some say don't be greedy.

But then again, it is not an easy task to take that 100% gains to put on another stock that will do the same. Easier to find a good stock and ride the waves.

I remember years ago (in 2011 or 2012) when Dominos pizza was trading for around $7, I bought $20k worth. I sold a couple of years after for a nice profit. Made about 170% or so on it. Thought I was smart. Well, it is trading at $95 a share now. I sold out just before the massive run in 2015-'16. Though I made a profit, it still bugs me. Some would say - well you made a profit, can't get greedy etc. But, I did not need that money then. All I had to do was - nothing. Just hold and wait.

But yes BT, I agree completely with you regarding the psychological aspect of making a tidy profit and pressing that sell button.

I have learnt from my mistake. Not intending to make it again. When the fundamentals are strong, I know I should hold.
