Ann: NBL launches Linius Sports Solution, page-56

Spoke to a good friend who looked at LNU for another sport and asked for opinion. His biggest reservation is that the video must contain all the metatags before going into Linius. He asked what is its raw footage without tags and they said it wouldn't work. Would have to use AI/ML from AWS/Azure/GCP to do the tagging, which is additional cost.

Good starter for ten but needs refining. I think clients may be challenged with CR's pitch vs product reality and the delta between the two puts some off. Will be interesting to see if NBL are in for the long haul with development of the product to full potential.

Interestingly AWS just launched a similar product, allowing content to be stitched together including live/video on demand and include adverts etc. All aimed at a personalised viewing experience. Add their AI/ML to this and it could do exactly the same job by auto tagging content and creating the playout...
