one could argue - that the law changes made "going broke" less attractive, and the rental / banking deals stopped people getting kicked out for non-payment.
rekon we will see strong uptick in buss in administration over the next 2-months with wind-back of support.
it also appears that "consumers" in Oz / USA / UK / Germany have slowed spending dramatically in last month (see red-bok series data for those countries) - DESPITE what appears to be an increase in household "cash" levels .............very bizzare !
agreed re accruals !
another thing that is (highly) deflationary - is "renewables" compared to fossil fuels....
interesting times !
