I won't say if its a good decision or otherwise.
But what I will say is in terms of IOU vs ZIP, we here are at the base level in terms of business growth where as ZIP has already gone through its growth phases over the past 2 years. Does zip have more growth left and how much can it still squeeze out of its sp for shareholders over there?
IOU on the other hand as I have mentioned is just at the start of our growth journey here, expanding into the BNPL market in Asia whilst methodically and strategically growing its core and existing Mobile banking services and Digital payment processing business. Logic would dictate IOU presents a much greater growth prospect than say ZIP which has already seen its share of growth over the last 3 to 4 years
I leave the rest to you for your own self assessment and research. IOU Management here is top notch too IMO
