@Jorisz seems strange to me, I know one of the brokers I use (holding under a custodian arrangement) also occasionally forces users to call to buy certain stocks, IBG is not one of them currently, I am yet to see it on CHESS sponsored accounts, the only stocks they’ve put a limit on to my knowledge were GameStop and AMC. By limit, I mean buy, you could sell just like was publicised with brokers in the US.
My best guess is that they may be a broker that uses your data to bet against your position and they’re no longer in a position to bet themselves, so you can’t play either.
