Every stock that isn't a micro-cap always follows the fundamental unless there is an underlying growth story at work. If you are talking about APT, etc, the growth stories attached to those stocks are still fairly strong although have been waning a bit. In the case of A2M, the growth story has ended and so the fundamentals are taking over the narrative.
It is that simple.
