I can't believe the speculative rubbish that has been posted on this site over the last week (during my suspension for swearing).

Seriously, how can sentiment change so significantly on so little fundamental change?

Some of the ridiculous comments from the last week:

"Its being capped so the instos can underwrite the oppies"

"Its being sold down because the instos already know there's no gas"

"the well is broken, because you never have to change bits 3 times in a week"

"they aren't drilling the bottom section, because they have to block off the bottom section to bring the top zones into production"

"its all gone bad because i'm a market guru that doesn't require evidence because I have a sixth sense that tells me what the instos are going to do before they do it."

Total empirical evidence to support these claims = ZERO.

All of the reports have, by my reading, indicated that drilling is progressing beautifully. Furthermore, we are currently in the most sexy zone to date (based on PB1 results).

    Taken from GDN announcement 27/10/2006:

"The well is at 12,490 feet (3,807 m), drilling in the Alkali Gulch Member of the Pennsylvanian Paradox Formation . The Alkali Gulch Member comprises a cyclic sequence of sandstone, dolomite, black shale and salt; and forms a seal over the primary objective of the well, the Leadville Limestone"

3 days later GDN went into trading halt before exploding on the huge readings from Alkali Gulch.

    Taken from yesterday's announcement:

Paradox Basin #2 is currently at 13,839’ (4218m) in the Alkali Gulch Formation and drilling ahead in carbonates and evaporates comprising salt dolomite and limestone. Drilling
rates are currently high ranging from 16 to 37 feet per hour.

    In 3 days....
