Good article. It is these NHS areas like Fife and Dartford and Gravesham that open future doors. I suspect that these particular areas have the right forward thinking people in positions of influence and decision making abilities that have allowed these parts of the NHS to move on introducing Alcidions' solutions. They will be test beds which when proven will provide the confidence and background to allow other less nimble, less resourced, NHS areas to move.

My view is that Scotlands' areas in particular will have the implicit ability to move faster on these decisions - smaller and nimbler. As someone with friends and family members who have worked in different areas of NHS in Scotland, I am a little familiar with the frustrations of working in an organization struggling to provide care and bogged down in 20 to 30 year old approaches.

I am also very familiar with the frustrations from the patient and family perspective. As a personal experience my mother was a frequent visitor to NHS Scotland facilities over many decades. When she passed away a few years ago, her hospital doctor met with my father after her passing. He showed him the files they had on my mother. 6 manual files, each over 4 inches thick. Many treatments, many missteps, much drug trial and error, some successes.

IT and AI systems that can encourage clinicians to own the systems and allow data to be accumulated and analyzed, first and foremost for that patient's efficient and effective care, but secondly for other patients care off the back of accumulated and easily accessible data, has to be a benefit that everyone in the health sector has been shouting from the rooftops for for decades. Better patient care provided more cost effectively is the value proposition companies like ALC are targeting and one that the NHS and Australia's health systems desperately need.

70% reduction in cardiac arrests is stunning in anyone's language. What imbecile on health boards won't buy into that opportunity.

I like the story and will be accumulating, and I also believe we are in for the next leg up shortly. Think its quite fully value at current prices, bar new contract announcements. Massive vaccination roll out in the UK and a return to more normal circumstances will see accelerating interest though.
