What i come to realise, is that fundementals need to be in place, and then the market can support a stock beyond the hype.
This stock was 2.00 before the slide of b&b and the crash,
i just wander, how many of the market punters, back then, when they paid much more for the reit, happy with non discounted div yeilds, had considered earthquakes into their thinking.
Dont get me wrong, it is a fair point that you mention, but my question is, how much of it, did the market factor or even consider it 2 years ago, and then my pov, will they in the next year or so, as BJT divorsed of the bnb legacy, climbs back up.
And you are right, if a major quake hit, not so good for anything in japan, so thats a bit of dice rolling we do, but for 1/3 of my capitol returned every 3 years, we only need to roll the dice 3 times, and i'm ahead.
The market is not made up of such well considered opinions as yours, but the many, and it is a mob, and momentum, based in fundemetnals, and div yeilds, may overlook the natural disaster factor.
But thanks for bringing it to my attention.
cheers
