Depends on who is getting the most information Google or Race as to whether the information is useful.
Data is very valuable more so to Google Facebook etc.
Who can then build a Profile to target you with all sorts of garbage.
Take this web site for example how many people are aware as to how much extra data is put on your computer when you visit.

Anyway my computer runs better without all this clogging the works, every one has a choice as it's your machine they are trying to take advantage of.
