Actually battery size is not related to the chemistry. Zinc-bromine flow batteries could be developed as larger scale batteries. It’s a matter of which market is targeted.
Redflow’s 10kwh battery is flexible for a range of domestic, commercial and grid energy however once Redflow establish themselves they will offer new sizing option IMO.
