From a personal investment focus I am finding that Australian electricity generators are all suffering a bit atm due to the increase in supply from renewables coming in before coal plant retirements...depressed prices & lower revenue for the next few years at least - I find the TLT exit timely & astute. NZ generation assets are not suffering the same and are a much more suitable investment... so happy we are still exposed to this market via Trust.

Bring on some direct investment in Australian Pumped Hydro, BESS or alternative ESS via IFT & I feel we will get better returns than TLT provided.

agree on the timing of exiting TLT. Got a good price for the business, when it is overheated and the future prices likely much lower.

Really keen to see what they get into next. An expansion of the CDC would be logical and then keep the funds for the next venture.
