Part A of my post, I'm just keen and excited to see the announcements we're all expecting.

Part B yeah red days (not portfolio's) sting a bit, I'm sure we'd all like to see green everyday, but mostly it was tongue in cheek, the 'price slide' was supposed to give it away as that was the wording used in the article the other day when we dropped a huge 2% (or something, I didn't check).

While we're on this subject though, every time anyone mentions a bit of pain on a red day the HC faithfuls love to come on and tell them that maybe shares aren't for them, or sell up and bugger off or some other beautifully worded pearl of wisdom. We all have different sized portfolios, different ideas of risk, different thresholds of loss/gain, I don't see myself as anything special but I'm seeing 4 figures a day disappearing and yeah, long term this/that, not til you sell blah blah but I reckon the odd comment is fair enough.
