Dr Karl fix climate in ten years, page-10

Dr K may be a popular science entertainer, but he doesn't have a great record on climate change. Back about 10 years (or less) ago, climate change was a very hot topic of public and political debate. Rudd was unsuccessful with his CPRS and then he got booted by Gillard with an effective tax/price on carbon scheme. That scheme and Gillard were hounded out of existence by team Mad-Dog (Abbott/MCA/IPA/News Corp) and their scorched earth denialism. During those years, I recall Dr Karl being asked what he thought about climate change and his answer left me gobsmacked. He was free to be skeptical I suppose, but he was leaning towards denial of mankinds responsibility for climate change (ie from fossil fuel combstion). With his audience of young impressionable people and his occasionally flippant attitude towards science, it was regrettable, that Dr K. wasted time and opportunity. At least now he seems to believe we are facing a serious threat and should do something.
