I would say that our currency is strongly linked to tangible assets - as these rise, so should the AUD.
I suppose what I am saying is that there may be a very strong case for holders of USD to turn them into something else. But I don't think that the case for aussies to do likewise is anywhere near as strong.
We've got to link all these articles about the USD and gold to us here in Australia. There are endless articles and lengthy thoughts out there about what is happening to the USD and the US people and you name it. Some times I wonder if the gold thread on HC is just made for Americans. There is barely any info posted on Aussies (and I am guilty of this).
We need a hero of the aussie point of view to lead us through some serious analysis. Or else we should just all move to the US.
