    Hi Champ,

    I think the answer to your question is that $1,000.00 is a psychological barrier for the public mind.

    Once that 'dam wall' is breached and stays breached for 3, 4 or 5 days there will be a flood of interest in gold.

    So $1,000.00 will be defended vigourously by TPTB.

    It's close, but we bugs haven't won as yet.
