Just to counteract your articles siameseparrot, this is a small piece from a market report i receive from my friend who works at goldman sachs. I cant paste the reports as they are in PDF format.

"While others (like myself) are still on the view that the lows have been seen and that we are in a period of consolidation phase where the market will correct but at the same time is likely to go sideways as opposed to going all the way back to march lows.

i have spoken to many clients who have not enjoyed this rally and are still holding a lot of cash and i suspect that once the selloff has run its course & looks like finding a base, the buyers will come back rushing in. But for now its like the scene off JAWS where the girl falls in the water & the shark is circling her - will she get out in time or get take - its a heart stopping moment over the next 3 weeks. Is this it (the rally over) or is it just base building for another run later? ”

What does this tell me, well ALOT of people have missed out on this recent run and are mighty upset about it. They are still holding loads of cash and want to get back in, so if there are any dips it will be breif as these funds will want to show their investors that they actually have their money invested and arent simply sitting on the sidelines with their cash. After all their clients want to be part of a recovery. So expect strong buying up to june so these clients ( when they receive their year end report ) are satisfied that their fund managers are invested in equities. Well thats my theory anyways.

These reports that i receive have been bullish since the lows of a few months back while all the other broker reports i read predict doom and gloom. So who do you beleive??
