It’s not my field.

A friends wife died of bladder cancer. The oncologist was saying that they had to be careful in their last heroic treatment attempts - she ‘could only have a little bit more “ (Doxorubicin)
Cancer treatment has been horrendous .

Second surgeries are contraindicated in ovarian and really many cancers , bladder probably also notably .
Breast cancer treatment is moving to less surgical and non- radical surgical approaches .

I’m not clear , but there needs to be better chemo and effective but minimising extraneous harm , adjunctive targeted treatment. I’m sure bisantrene is a very useful oncology agent and a real alternative to existing drugs which can harm the heart . We all know this .

In combination tx though, and especially refractory and relapsed patients where resistance and ineffectiveness of existing SoC —it’s a no- brainer to get bisantrene into the clinic and helping to save patients , without the cardiac toxicity .

And if bisantrene can inhibit FTO in suitable patients where can be a diagnosed factor for cancer presence and growth and these patients will have very high mortality risks - wow.
If FTO inhibition link is strongly suggested through independent research ( as COH work has shown ) , + historical data & now current studies - this becomes overall most compelling in any cancer case, including specific breast cancer patients.
( In a paddock or your yard if there are weeds you spot treat them, with low- toxic agents , limit spray drift with highly targeted tiny spray nozzles only to the weed , or repeatedly if required apply the herbicide only right on the weed —-specific agents for the weed trying not to harm surrounding native or cultivated plants or the beneficial insects & tiny micro- fauna or have chemicals linger in the soil and environment , or hurt bees, native birds, animals or people etc )

Cancer is a similar analogy. Want to kill the cancer and not the person .
Heart damage is a terrible secondary outcome still especially for breast cancer survivors . SoC in breast cancer and other cancers as well is well- known for cardiac toxicity .
