    You guys are NUTS.

Take a deep breath and google where that Channel and its rocky islands are located at.....lol.

The Bashi Channel is part of the South China Seas and opens up to the Pacific Ocean, and within it; there are small islands - some are claimed by Taiwan and some are claimed by the Philippines.

That is, there are disputes between the Philippines and Taiwan on who actually owns it.

So if you have NOT seen the Philippines feel threatened by the flight through the Channel, then why should the Taiwanese who are in dispute with the Philippines about who owns the islands feel threatened?????

Listen, if you guys actually been to Taiwan and China, you will see there are Millions and Millions of Taiwanese and Mainland Chinese travelling between their airports, each and every single week.

I have clients in Shanghai who are married to Taiwanese and they travel every weekend to see their relatives. The fact is, millions of Mainland Chinese and Taiwanese are related to each other across the border.

They wouldn't want a war against their own relatives, just like we wouldn't want a war with against the UK.

And lastly, there are many small islands that are very close to each other - the closest Taiwan Island to Mainland China is ONLY 10kms away and there are "Hourly" ferry service between the two - its all very peaceful, there are no shooting or bombing. People travel between these two places to work and conduct businesses in their daily commute.

Furthermore, for those who don't know, travelling between Taipei and Shanghai is like travelling between Sydney and Melbourne - there are hourly flights!!!

Bottom line: its only you guys who interpret these events as some kind of crisis. Stop making a mountain out of a molehill!!!
