I love this! Staged approach makes perfect sense. Stage 3 cheap clean hydro power produced downstream in Cameroon (and powering the Cameroonian economy), transmitted upstream to the mine. Refined aluminium shipped around the world, just a fraction of the tonnage and consequently reduced freight cost and carbon footprint. Ultimately, this is the way to scale it up to fully develop the abundant resource for 20 years instead of 200+ years. Think of all the additional jobs in heavy industry for Cameroon.
