I must admit, as negative as I am about the team - board and management - that has been in place, I don’t think there is that much downside from here.
I cannot see a $1 price. Until recently I genuinely thought a $2 plus price or realised value was highly likely. This now looks unlikely. But a $1 price looks even more unlikely.
If someone thought they could buy AMP right now for $1.50, I am sure there would be multiple buyers. At that price both Macbank and some venture capitalist would have a go at sorting out the pieces.
