Agree with everything except the funding issue. I think if they get through this period and be allowed to mine, i don't think funding will be an issue.

Not too many new Tier 1 met coal projects (Riversdale aside) coming online in the next few years and with the stimulus infrastructure spend worldwide, the demand for steel can only increase. If Canada, or Alberta at least, is serious about getting out of the red, they need big mining projects. Can't keep the welfare going forever.
