So your saying that political shifting and pressure from Denmark, the US, Australia cant influence the stance of the elected officials to sway mining however they want regardless of the peoples wishes? I have witnessed many times a politician committed to one stance and moving to another just to get elected and secure their future. The people of all countries have been let down from their expectations due to MONEY.

With the population at 56,000 there will probably be 20-30,000 people who actually vote. The country has plenty of drug and alcohol and other social problems. The politicians will most likely do whatever helps themselves stay in a position of power regardless of the popular vote.
