I trust you have names for each one of them and enjoy their company as family pets. Chickens are sociable, sensitive, intelligent little birds and deserve to be respected and treated as pets. If you look after them they will show you trust, love and affection.
That is far better than being barbaric and killing these lovely little creatures and then eating them. That is repulsive to me.
