    hdavid,

Your approach is correct, as the saying goes "ride the trend, till it bends". There is no way I will sell my PBG now, when sentiment has changed for this one. Just look at the volume on the up side as compared to the volume on the down side. My interpretation is sellers are not keen to sell till they get a higher price for it and buyers are willing to pay this price, thus the increased volume and the price rise. Like wise when the SP goes down, they are fewer sellers, thus the low volume.
I cannot afford to fall in love with any shares, it is a costly exercise. On the other hand when a trend has started and in place, it is a folly to sell too early. Are we afraid of making money? This is the most profitable part of any trade, when a new trend has been set and we caught it.The $64 question is not when do we buy it, but when do we sell it.
I have no problem with drummnutt selling at 37c when he bought it a low price. It is his strategy and he stuck to it. He has reached his target.I do not think he is right at being emphatic that we are "fools" that we have not followed him.His reasoning is so flawed and his facts were all jumble up, thus his incorrect assumption. The difference between drummnutt's approach and mine is, I am not absolutely sure, how PBG will go. However in life, we have to take calculated risk. At the moment, the wind is in the right direction for the sail, the trend is on. My way is to flow with the current then against it.They are others like drummnutt who choose to take a different course, like short selling. What better way now, other then to ram it down so that they can achieve their purpose.I would rather be a buyer now than to be a seller.

I am not absolutely sure that those that bought at 85c were wrong wither. It depends on their time frame. I know of certain traders who would not buy a share till the SP crosses over the 15 or 30 weeks moving average. There is no certainty in life, the satisfaction is when we made a right call, ride it well till you think that you have meet your objective, then jump off at your own leisure. I trade without any set target in mind. I look at the trend, the prevailing economic situation, management efforts, the company's financial position.A trend may go on for years, when we get them on an early stage because everything has turned favourable. It looks like PBG is one that is facing this situation. If my call is correct, how do you feel that PBG returns to the $3 level in 2 years time, and your entry price was 17c, 37c, 41c,85c or 60c.What is the return of the origin investment? Is it worth the while to stay?I made a good call, I am lucky enough to make the call.I hope things will continue to be favourable.
