Will the patient win and the FDA will approve the stem cell therapy invented by Mesoblast that will be injected into the patients lower back to reduce lower back pain or will the FDA block its treatment and we continue down the same old opioids path to reduce pain. All the while we allow the patient to become instantly addicted to opioids to block pain and fuel another crisis of drug dependency, drug dealing, street crime, homelessness, unemployment and poverty and most likely overdose and death. Who will win?
