@Corgi may I have your opinion on the announcement by Credit Suisse yesterday which lead to a 14% drop in its SP, which is huge for an insto that big. How could they possibly lose money when the share market had an incredible bull run since last year with almost all sectors in the green (except for gold, sadly) and Dow, Nasdaq is at ATH? What the heck did they invest in?? I thought that incident plus some other instos suddenly dumped billions of shares would be a tailwind for gold but it dropped another $20 last night instead.

It seems to me like instos arent that smart after all? Last year I put a bit of money in MAG, the greenbull dude kept on posting brokers report to assure people that instos still buying heaps all the way from 36c down to 20c. Only retails were net sellers. And look at the MAG's SP now.. 11c! Good thing I cut loss at 20c and did not base my investment on instos.
