OPINIONWith all the resources available to MDT, ( A Major US Healthcare Company)who have already undertaken due diligence, I am puzzled why they have not acted swiftly enough to acquire Anteris.Such an acquisition now, would be a bargain price, with an immediate competitive advantage against the other EW.The MDT Fiscal year ends 23/04/21 whereas EW ends 30/12/21. This may be relative or not, when they consider their budgets for M & A.EW have invested in Resilia, a valve which they are counting on as their solution to anti calcification and a competitor to MDT & AVR.AX.IMO it would be a very brave decision, for them to ignore our company’s durable, DNA free, anti calcified, single 1 piece valve with relative data. I couldn’t imagine EW making a huge risk like that, without putting some skin in the game, after all they are huge in this area.In fact recent revenue figures reported by EW were 4.3b and that was for an inferior product. If I recall correctly we are told they have a Market Share of about 65%, so assuming MDT has the majority of the rest of the market pie, that would amount to a Total of US revenues of approximately 6.6b.Future Value of Market Revenue 23/04/25 estimates around 10b and 23/04/30 around 25bI remind you also that is in US dollars. So IMO who ever gets us, potentially gets the entire market share, unless FDA give approval for the disposable Valves in the very elderlyMDT is by far the larger company, complimented with other revenues amounting to around 27b. These figures are staggering and there share prices are in multiples of their revenue..With around 10m diluted shares, it is almost mind boggling to think what our company is worth to either of them. EW to maintain their market share and MDT to grab a larger slice. The longer they make their move, the bigger the offer IMO But they both have deep pockets and any offer we are presented with will surely ensure a short payback, I’m thinking 1 or 2 years.Have fun working out the value in today’s dollars albeit 2025 and 2030Remember it’s not over until the “fat lady sings”
