UK government has just agreed to support first phase for the processing plant in Saltend Chemicals Park with Pensana and their Angola mine.

Our Teeside equivalent will be next in line as it appears that the UK wants to become a major rare earths supplier in Europe feeding the EV transformation in the car industry.


I would guess the buys this morning were a direct reaction of those news and the willingness of the UK government to support rare earths processing business in the country.
The freeport arrangements were pointing this way prior.

Once the mourning period in Tanzania has ended, one would expect a SML forthcoming and preparation to go through the same process as Pensana with the UK government.


We are currently in a holding pattern, which could quickly erupt upwards.
