What we are seeing with
@daytona600 is the classic "sit back say nothing because the authorities have got me covered, as I'm on their side" After a few assertions about taking his guide from front line workers, the information trail dries up. No denial of IFR figures, no denial of anything. As it happens, I have friends in the "front line" both here and in London, and whilst, unfortunately, they do seem to have bought into the panic, one or two of them are surprised that the numbers of dying patients at their place of work are nowhere near what they are told is occuring elsewhere. One indeed expressed such an opinion and was given a ticking off.
History tells us, once power is thoroughly established, the mindless sponges who believe authority cares are first under the bus.
