The Key word in the announcement was "MOU", whilst you are correct that anybody can list a store on EBay. The Key difference is that this is an official contractually binding document which is regulated by ASIC and the ASX.

"You do realise if you currently run an online store (e.g shopify) you can automatically integrate your product SKU and all data across to eBay for free, it’s a complimentary service in almost all online web designs."

Whilst the above statement is correct, it's not technically the case between the DW8 announcement regarding Ebay Australia. Yes, the integration may be "free" - however the MOU is EBay's stamp of approval.

When I'm online, browsing for a product to purchase, I'm more likely to purchase goods listed by a store verified by EBay. For example, anybody can go on EBay and list a "Rare Rolex Daytona with the Paul Newman Dial" - however, there is no verification or authentication process. With a MOU, the buyer is given a safety blanket that the product is authentic and verified; hence the term "Partnership".

If one searches for "Australian Wine", they could very much find a myriad of sellers - however, under the MOU - all DW8 wineries are now listed as a DW8 product instead of having every winery listing their products on EBay Individually.

We have inherently accumulated the most valuable wineries and quality products under one roof on EBay.

Yes, if I wanted cheap wine - I'd search for cheap wine. However, I also know if the announcement were not Material - we'd have ASX questioning us as to what was "material" about the announcement and further asking for explanation on the SP movement. (This has happened in the past, when a Blog post revealed certain details before an announcement was made) - the reason I mention this is because the ASX scrutinises announcements and if they deem one to not be "substantial", it would certainly lead the company into trouble with the ASX much before any one on Hotcopper could complain about it.

    Is the announcement material? Yes.
How is it different from integrating the product SKU on EBay? Because it is a Memorandum of Understanding, which is a contract between two parties that officially recognises the terms and partnerships.
Can anyone get a MOU with the likes of EBay? No. Only a Business of substantial value to the platform can seek out a MOU.
What does this prove, anyways? For one, it proves our platform is getting noticed. Secondly it shows Mr. Dean Taylor is hard at work at getting the company as much exposure and selling opportunities for the product as possible.

Now if that doesn't cover it, I do apologise for having wasted your time. I am, however, expressing my opinion - as I am entitled to do so.
Now please enjoy the following lecture by Mr.Peter Lynch, kickback. and let Mr. Dean Taylor do his thing.

    GLTAH. DYOR. JMHO.

    Kind Regards.
