Mate, I don’t want to get into a long winded debate over this suffice to say that if I wanted to invest in gold, I’d buy the commodity and avoid the strategic, operational, financial, execution, management and other risks associated with fractional ownership of gold mining companies. If they can’t make a profit in the current low interest rate high liquidity environment, God help them (and their investors) when inflation comes out of the bottle causing yield curves and interest rates to increase.
