We won't see such a quick roll out in the US as what we have seen in China in 4 years. The politics are just too fractious in the US. What was approved in California with Title 22 is not approved in a Republican state. FLC had to start the approval process all over again with a Republican state. The pendulum may have swung in favour of infrastructure and the environment with a Democratic president but watch the pendulum swing back when a Republican Pres comes back to the office. With infrastructure development, you need sustained efforts, long term determination.to make sure remedies are stuck to, laws adhered to etc. China took 20 years to come to this stage with their efforts to rejuvenate their soil, air and water. USA will take 40 years with current politics at play.
I really hope I will be proven wrong with the US but I not optimistic with the state of play there. May be we have a window of opportunity for the next 4 years. I just hope we are not taking one step forward and two steps back. Damn the politics.
