Well I may be wrong, but the amount equals about 154m aud, conversion price was 4.092, so that would be up to 37.6m ords, aboout 11% of MC. Suspect bond holders prefer bonds over equities, but hard to pass up a $45m profit.
Why didn't WEB approach somebody else and leave these notes in place? Maybe they needed the $45m profit (29% ish) carrot to get the deal over the line? Exy finance if I am right.
