and it sparked something in my rusty old brain. I vaguely remember when we were at Nolans that the geologist mentioned another area not far away that was a Nolans look-alike. Was that just a dream or is it a real memory? If it's real then I hope we investigate that prospect - I’d dearly love to find another Nolans. Someone mentioned earlier that a few drill holes at Kurinelli would be good and of course I would be pleased if we found the mother load that is hidden there, but deep down I don’t trust gold – there are too many forces acting on it that I don’t understand – it’s not a resource, it’s a financial standard and it’s too complex for me. Rare earths are simpler (though much more complex in their chemistry) because demand is so clearly set to outstrip supply, which makes them a standout investment. I’m pleased that the last announcement states they will concentrate on finding rare earth plays. Let’s hope that Nolan’s Bore has a big brother just down the road eh?
